BIRDIES FOR CHARITY PRESENTED BY TOWNEBANK
Birdies for Charity presented by TowneBank is a fundraising platform, operating in conjunction with the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, that enables charitable organizations in the state of Virginia to receive a 10% bonus on charitable contributions. Participating charities will receive all gifts collected on their behalf, minus credit card fees,plus the additional 10% in payment distributions throughout the year. All bonus funds will be included in the final payment distribution in December via ACH direct deposit.
The 2025 Birdies for Charity program will launch on Thursday, May 1 at 9:00AM ET. The link to the application will be posted on our website here.

Donors can maximize their impact and receive a 10% bonus on their donation through Birdies for Charity presented by TowneBank.
At this time, Birdies for Charity donations cannot be accepted. Once organizations register and are approved to participate for the 2025 program, they will be all set to collect donations for a 10% bonus. All donations to participating charities can be given directly to the chosen non-profit organization.
PARTICIPATION INFORMATION
Charitable organizations in the state of Virginia recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) are eligible to participate in Birdies for Charity. All new and returning charities will be required to complete the online application, upload their IRS Determination Letter, Form W9, Banking Information (ACH Direct Deposits) and agree to the terms of participation. Registration for the 2025 program will launch on May 1 and at that time, organizations can register to participate for the year.
